The upcoming support group gathering for families of the incarcerated promises to be a source of comfort and strength for those who attend. The small group will be facilitated by a Catholic coordinator (with 19 years of experience as a jail chaplain) who will be joined by a guest facilitator each week. He will offer prayers and support to those who are struggling with the challenges of having a loved one who is incarcerated.
Deacon Ed Shoener will speak on the role of faith and spirituality and their impact on Mental Health. He will discuss resources and ministry-based practices to accompany individuals and families, to create avenues toward wellness and hope. (Spanish interpretation will be available)
