At this conference, we will be discussing Bioethics impacting Catholic Healthcare in the context of Catholic Social Teaching and the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care Services (ERDs). Dr. Camosy is a Professor of Medical Humanities at the Creighton University School of Medicine. In addition, he holds the Msgr. Curran Fellowship in Moral Theology at St. Joseph Seminary in New York. Dr. Camosy's published articles have appeared in numerous publications including the American Journal of Bioethics, the Journal of Medicine and Philosophy, and the Journal of the Catholic Health Association. He is the author of several books including Losing Our Dignity: How Secularized Medicine is Undermining Fundamental Human Equality (New City Press, 2021) and Bioethics for Nurses: A Christian Moral Vision, with Alisha N. Mack (Eerdmans, 2022).
